As much as I’d like to blame the photographer for the long delay since my last post, the fact is I’ve had the photos and just been putting off posting some.  So without further delay, here they are:

I’ve been meaning to update this, I just haven’t gotten to it…

On January 27, we were married!  So far so good. 

The wedding was a dream.  Bad weather threatened throughout the day but in the end it cleared up enough to have a lovely evening wedding.  I managed to maintain my composure for  a little while, but when I saw Michelle in her dress, I lost it and started crying.  I’ve prayed for a wife for so long that it was overwhelming to finally see my bride walking down the aisle towards me.

We took a little trip to Apalachicola, FL and stayed at a quaint little B & B called “Coomb’s House Inn.”  We were actually in the second house of the B & B and had the whole thing to ourselves.  After about the second day we had seen most of the quiet little town.  We visited antique stores and a few restaurants.  There was a brief visit to the beach but I was so cold that we didn’t stay long.

We haven’t gotten the wedding pictures in but when I get them in I’ll be sure to post some on here.

We’re still counting down. 12 days until I say “I do.”

Haven’t posted a real post in a while. Been keeping pretty busy. We spent the majority of last week cleaning my apartment and trying to get it prepared for Michelle to move in. We’ve done a lot but it still feels like we have a bit to go.

Probably won’t be posting much here until after the wedding, keep an eye out for some photos or something sometime after the first week of February.
