Today is the day we set aside to honor our Fathers. I think about my father as I continue on my journey to become the father I want to be. My dad knew about a lot of things and I was often too arrogant in my youth to recognize it. I’ve accumulated some of what little wisdom I
have from him.
My dad was strong and his love was always evident growing up. Reflecting on that I think about our Heavenly Father. He is the source of all wisdom. On this Father’s day I ask Him to teach me a greater wisdom and strength to lead my family. I look at my little girl everyday and thank God for entrusting me with the task of taking care of her. I can’t do it on my own strength, so I must learn to always rely on God.
