The other day I saw Eliana pulling herself up in the kitchen and then standing. This is not a new occurrence, she’s been doing it for a while, but at that moment a thought occurred to me: she look’s like a kid now. This may seem like a silly thought or even a blatantly obvious one. She no longer resembles a baby to me, but instead she looks like a ‘kid.’ I guess some people don’t differentiate the two but I do. Only a few months ago (well actually 10 months ago) she was tiny in my arms.
