What I Wish for You

I found this when I was going through some old files. It’s a poem I wrote awhile back and I just thought I’d share it here. I’m going to put it in Eliana’s scrapbook.

I wish that you’ll be happy
All the days of your life
May your heart be full of bliss
Without a lot of strife

I wish that you will prosper
By following God’s will
He loves you with a Father’s love
And will always love you still

I wish you to have many dreams
Much bigger than yourself
And trust the God of Heaven
To turn those dreams to wealth

I wish you’ll be a worshipper
In all you say and do
To lavish love on Father God
And to His word be true

I wish you’ll find that special call
God has ordained for you
And may you never lose sight
Of what He wants you to do

And remember this advice
When life is hard to bear
Pray to your God in Heaven
For you know He’s always there
